Has any of Big Three decided to block Google.com Instant Preview in "Annoyance" filter? A lot of people are asking for it on the web.

||google.com/webpagethumbnail? appears to prevent the thumbnails actually appearing, although it the website still attempts to load the image, something that I doubt could be prevented without removing removing functionality from the domain.

Inspecting the google search page with these filters in place (with Fiddler)
it turn out the "previews" are loaded in the background when clicking somewhere on the page anyway.

The following filter works in my case :
Code: Select all
|http://www.google.com/extern_js/*.js

... but that also takes away the javascript needed to change settings.
