hover on drop down menus

i'm using the adblock browser and can't seem to use drop down menus on websites. not the type with buttons or arrows, but say on a retail site where you hover over "clothing" then you can select "women," "men," etc, from below. i can't seem to navigate to the choices. i can only select the top choice, like "clothing". help?

go to paulaschoice.com and try to hover over the expert advice tab and select something from below.

On mobile, there is such thing as hovering on Desktop. While hanes.com seems to have a mobile-optimized menu which works completely different, paulaschoice.com doesn't have something alike. However, all the choices you would get form the hover menu, are also displayed on the left after having tapped and of the main menu points.
