Can't change default search engine

Whenever I try to access the search options it shows up for a brief moment and then jumps straight back to the customization page and freezes (can't access any other options before I close the whole settings page and reopen it). As a result I'm unable to change the default search engine or enable/disable search suggestions. I managed to disable search suggestions through about:config but didn't find a way to change the default search engine from there.

That's what I did and the instant I click Search it opens the search options page for a moment and then jumps back to the customization page and everything becomes grayed out (can't access anything) before I go back to the main settings page and then exit that too and reopen settings.

What device are you using?
What Adblock Browser version do you have?
What Android version?

Sorry for the many questions but that could help us solve that issue.
