Forbes.com ads on ios

Post by worldsdream »

Hi,

I'm using an adblocker on my ios. I have easylist as my filter list as i know thats the best one. Been using it since adblock plus started. Never failed upon me.

Can you please have a look on forbes.com for ios devices?
On my desktop firefox everything get blocked.

I heard ios need different rules or something like that?

Thank you

I know that the Content Blocker API uses a specific format that doesn't exactly correspond to the ABP format, and also that it only accepts up to 50,000 filters; this means that the EasyList maintainers also maintain a fork of EasyList especially for ABP for iOS Safari.
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.

I did try, i didn't like it

I'm just using safari. As it does sync with my mac as well.
My filter is 14.000 right now.

I dont think its a fork but the real abp list but it somehow is not blocking forbes on mobile? Because all other pages are running great without ads.

So those ads on forbes can't be blocked?

Hey worldsdream!

Thanks for reaching out to us.
What is your device and iOS version?
Could you send us a screenshot of the ads you still see on forbes? You need to use an image hoster like imgur.com for example.
Hope to be able to help
