I have not added any extra sites to any of the list I've just ticked the various lists.

The annoying thing is there is no guidance or UI to clear this up, bad UX all round.

Lets hope it gets fixed soon.
for me it showed the error/warning message 5 seconds after installation :)
it sucks!

In this Page:https://issues.adblockplus.org/ticket/4023

It seem this Issie has ben fixed.
But you should wait Adblock Plus to release next version Adblock-Plus-0.9.7-for-Microsoft-Edge .

Guys listen up!

Once you install it, just make sure you chose to use block malware, remove social media buttons, and disable tracking, and you’re good to go!

After performing this action, you should be able to use AdBlock Plus in Microsoft Edge once again. This issue is quite odd because you basically can’t use any of AdBlock Plus’ additional features even if they’re theoretically available.
We hope that AdBlock will fix this strange problem with a future update because the current state of the extension annoys a lot of people. However, extensions for Microsoft Edge are still young, so we shouldn’t be surprised because they’re not working as expected. We’re sure a lot of updates for them are ahead of us.
