Adblock Plus

Two days ago Adblock Plus stopped working in Edge. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it to no avail. It is still working in Google chrome for the same websites.

check the filter lists in ABP for edge, see if still there or if are downloaded without errors (click ABP icon, options)

You have no list in ABP, click "add filter subscription" and add easylist
If you are using ccleaner or other optimizing software it's better to exclude edge from it

I click the drop down menu then I highlight easylist but for some reason it is not saving it. This started happening a couple of days ago after the latest windows update. Before that it was working fine.

try reinstalling ABP

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still the same.

These are the 3 windows updates that were installed on 10/12. Don't know if this is the cause of the problem but it started not working around the same time.

my system is up to date but the lists are still there, so could be some other software in your system ? antivirus ?

I use Sophos anti virus which I never had a problem with and it is still working for chrome.

So today I deleted then reinstalled edge and adblock plus is working again.
