Adblock Plus

Dear Moderator,

Several posts here need consolidated into one thread about "local files"

I'm here because ADP is blocking a local HTML file I use as my home page that's just a simple black background. I've found other posts about PDF's, and yet more about other local files. The one thing they all have in common is they are local files.

I read the ticket, can you elaborate on "minimum required version"?

I'm still on 1709 because I need my network to function. (And no I don't use homegroup and never have) If ABP is only going to support the latest version of windows, I like many others, will have to find a different product to block ads.

What use is a product that will only work on a version of windows that does not?
