white list and settings not persistent in edge

Hi,
where does ABP store the white list and its other settings?
Everytime I reopen Edge, the settings I've made are gone.
Edge is instructed to delete all temporary data on closing. This is a whished configuration of me.

I assume that ABP stores its settings in this area. Can I change the directory of ABP settings?

Sincerely

Ollie

Hi Ollie!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! We apologize for the annoyance. We are aware that some users are having an issue with MS edge first run page opening in a new tab upon relaunch with the message that filters have been removed. Unfortunately due to some Edge limitations, some ABP settings are cleared every time cookies are cleared on your browser.

We are working together with Microsoft to resolve this, please see https://gitlab.com/eyeo/adblockplus/adb ... issues/103 for more details.

In the meantime disabling cookie auto-deletion on Edge is the best workaround. You can stop auto-deletion of cookies by taking the steps below:

1.Open Microsoft Edge
2.Select More (...) to open the menu and click on Settings
3.Uncheck the box next to “cookies and saved website data”

I hope this helps. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any further questions.
