Hi Wladimir. I have been using Adblock Plus for many years, almost a decade. I think I started using it right after it was forked in 2005. I have considered making a donation in the past but couldn't find a way to do so. I looked more closely on the website and noticed that there is a prompt for Help us improve Adblock Plus on the homepage. If I follow the link, then I see the Donate Tab. I'm not sure if that was there last time I looked (it was a long time ago), but it is a little hard to find. Most of the websites for open source software that I donate to have a Donate link that is highly visible. I'd like to suggest putting a link in the top navigation bar, next to Announcements.
Also, I usually update the OS on my computers every 6 months, corresponding with the new release of Fedora, Ubuntu or whatever Linux distro I have installed. I then port over my Firefox profile so that I don't have to reinstall and reconfigure everything. So, I end up missing the contribute button on the addons page for mozilla.org:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... roadblock/
I appreciate all the work that goes into Adblock. I'm currently travelling and it is particularly useful when I only have access to slow internet or I have to use an expensive prepay data plan to tether my cell phone. Pages load much faster and I am able to navigate the internet with more speed, thanks to the bandwidth that is being saved from all the annoying, media heavy ads that aren't being downloaded and that I wouldn't even click on anyways.
Thanks again, a donation is headed your way.
