Hi

Would it be possible to add email update functionality to the release/development blogs?
releases/
development-builds/
blog/

I prefer receiving email updates and feedburner would be an easy to implement function.

Thanks :)

You can accomplish that with https://ifttt.com/. Create a recipe on there to send all RSS feed updates to you via email.

That looks too complicated compared to what I am asking for. Is there a reason y'all can't implement a simple feedburner option on the side?
Thanks!

It's actually a very powerful and easy-to-use solution for connecting different kinds of services. Anyway, there are a bunch of similar tools out there that you can use for this purpose like blogtrottr.com or feedmyinbox.com.

No, but it's quite redundant and it seems like Feedburner won't be around for too long anymore…

:(
I didn't care that much when Reader was shut down since I never used it, but if they shut down feedburner, I'll be really upset.
What about MailChimp? I'd prefer an official solution from you guys versus using a third party solution that's not officially supported.
But if not then I'll try out one of those.

I'm using blogtrottr as of now to see how well it works. Feedmyinbox is limited to subscribing to only 2 feeds, otherwise you have to pay, so blogtrottr it is.

Just an update:
Blogtrottr is working great. I got an email notification letting me know that a new post was published here:
releases/
Thanks for the recommendation :)
