how to upload personal photo?

I tried but could not upload the avatar, maybe size does not match. What is the standard size of the avatar?

go into your account, edit avatar and you'll see
Maximum dimensions; width: 80 pixels, height: 80 pixels, file size: 6.00 KiB.

Do I need to upload my photo to avatar? For me, this is more than Orwell’s dystopia. As for me, the less information about you on the Internet, the better. Think about whether you need to spread information about you online.
