Feature request: Disable Adblock for this session only

Postby phred » Sat Sep 06, 2014 7:07 pm

I hope this request hasn't been posted a billion times before now...

I'd love to see an option in Adblock Plus to TEMPORARILY whitelist a site, preferably for the current session only.

There is currently an option to whitelist a site, but it seems to be permanent - a month from now, that site will still be whitelisted unless I manually clear it from the whitelist. This seems incredibly dangerous to me. I may need to allow a particular site this one time only, but I don't want the whitelisting to persist once I close the browser tab/window. I don't see any current option to do this. Ideally, it would be a simple option in the existing menu.

Thanks for considering this.

You can watch the following bug report for any progress on this. Please only post comments there if there's something in the description I missed, or you have technical information to add.
