The filter above worked two days ago... And now CBS.com tags every commerical break again. -_-;

The only way I can get CBS to run a show tonight is by using BOTH the new filter @@/adblock*$script,domain=cbs.com and KEEPING the prior filter @@adblock.js$domain=cbs.com enabled. CBS is getting tough! Thanks for the filters.

CBS videos don't seem to be working again as of a few hours ago, even with both filters.

Using Firefox with no other blocking addons. Tried clearing cookies/cache, reinstalling Adblock, updating EasyList, and using both custom filters - a no go from this end. Thanks.

cbs is fucking annoying lol, its blocked again :/ I wish we could somehow delay the activation of adblock, as that seems to do the trick if u time it.

Hi all,

There seem to be a lot of solutions floating around here, when I've tried adding the individual filters suggested here, my adblock plus preferences windows show a snail next to them saying these custom filters aren't very efficient. Plus when I've tried to go to cbsnews.com's videos from 60 minutes, for example, they still detect I have an adblocker.

Suppose I want to watch this video:

http://www.cbsnews.com/videos/the-electronic-wasteland/

How can I stop cbsnews.com from detecting my adblocker and not playing the video?

Note I have updated my filter subscriptions to 'EasyList', 'Adblock Warning Removal List','facebook annoyances blocker' and "Peter Lowe's list" numerous times to no avail.

Would someone please provide the most up-to-date ABP custom filters I can use to stop CBS from detecting adblock plus on my firefox 28.0 browser on my mac osx 10.8.5 operating system?

Thank you very much for your help all!

use a similar filter

Code: Select all

@@/adblock*$script,domain=cbsnews.com
It could be a problem if you had a lot of such "slow" filters. It's not the case.
