Hi,
actually I wanted to just install ABP for chrome on android (since ABP already provides an chrome extension). However I couldn't find this instead only this ABP app...
Then there is also an abdlock plus browser, and an adblock plus add-on for firefox...
So whats the difference between all of them?
Do I need to install them in conjunction, eg ABP app + .. ?
TIA
What exactly is ABP for android?

Does Chrome for Android support apps and extensions?
Chrome apps and extensions are currently not supported on Chrome for Android. We have no plans to announce at this time.
the adblock browser (based on firefox browser) integrates better the adblocking stuffThen there is also an abdlock plus browser, and an adblock plus add-on for firefox...

ABP for firefox / adblock browser can block all the ads but ..surely is not working for other apps out of firefox browser
Re: What exactly is ABP for android?
Ah, thanks for the explanations, that clears up a lot!
Does this mean it also blocks "in-apps-ad", like you have them on some apps from the play store?mapx wrote:ABP for android is working for all apps on your android device but can not block ads on encrypted urls (https)
Re: What exactly is ABP for android?
yes, it should block those ads (if the filters are already in easylist and if aren't provided as encrypted ones via https addresses)fabp wrote:Ah, thanks for the explanations, that clears up a lot!
