If this is the case, why would they do that?

Thanks for enlightening me!
Hi, I can't comment on this specific case, but sometimes websites ask to be taken off the whitelist again. This can be due to a variety of reasons, for example when they change ad formats, placements or size and don't want to be bound to the Acceptable Ads criteria anymore.

This will also apply to search ads sites participating in Yahoo's search ads program.

Adding in-feed text ads on Yahoo Answers.

Proposed filters:

Code: Select all

answers.yahoo.com#@##ya-center-rail > [id^="ya-q-"][id$="-textads"]
answers.yahoo.com#@#.dmRosMBAdBox
answers.yahoo.com#@#.dmRosMBAdBorder
answers.yahoo.com#@#div[id^="dmRosAdWrapper"]

@@||doubleclick.net/ddm/*;sz=1x1;$image,domain=answers.yahoo.com
@@||rover.ebay.com^*&size=1x1&$image,domain=answers.yahoo.com
@@||2mdn.net/viewad/*-1x1.gif$image,domain=answers.yahoo.com
Link to a test page:
https://answers.yahoo.com/question/inde ... 239AAouISr

Advertising type:
Sponsored text ads below the question and between answers

Additional Technical Information:
None

Concerns:
Unlike other in-feed ads, the ad is not a separate feed item but is placed at the end of a feed item. Therefore the top unit may be perceived as too large.
