ABP 1.4 not working in IE11 on Windows 10

ABP 1.4 does not work in Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 10.

Is this a known issue?

What do you mean by "does not work"? Please explain what you tried to do and how you know it doesn't work. Were you able to get the ABP icon to show in the status bar?

Apparently I have IE 11. ADP was working fine until yesterday. Now, the icon is there, but when I click on it, it takes me to "choose your language" not the Easy List page. And ads are on my Facebook page and keep interrupting my audiobook on YouTube. I have downloaded ADP again, worked until this afternoon.... it has now stopped working again! Can someone explain in simple steps what I can do?

Apparently I have IE 11.

If you have the same setup as the OP, then IE11 is the only version of IE available for your OS (also, IE11 is the only version of IE for Windows 8.1).

Now if you're browsing with Spartan (recently renamed "Microsoft Edge"), then ABP for IE does not work there; shortly after the stable release of Windows 10, Edge should get Chrome-style extension support, and it should be a minor effort for Eyeo to port ABP for Chrome to work in Edge.

With that said, try uninstalling ABP for IE (make sure IE is closed first; check the Task Manager and kill all instances of iexplore.exe), then deleting the contents of %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Adblock Plus for IE\, then re-installing ABP for IE.

ABP DOES NOT WORK IN WINDOWS 10.
I am using IE11 in windows 10 and ABP 1.4 does not work at all. It worked fine when I was using windows 7 but I recently upgraded to windows 10 and I cannot get ABP to work at all. ABP appears in 'manage add-ons' and I've got it enabled, but the ABP icon doesn't appear in the status bar. But anyway ABP does absolutely nothing, adds are everywhere unblocked. I've tried un-installing and re-installing ABP etc etc etc as mentioned above, but nothing works.
FFS Please fix this !!!!!!!!!!! I mean if ABP doesn't work in windows 10 then ABP is completely hopeless.

Did you enable the third party addons in advanced settings in internet options ?

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately it didn't help, I checked the advanced settings and 'enable third-party browser extentions' is ticked.

Sort this out please, I cant be the only one with this problem.
My computer is in perfect condition, I did a fresh install of windows 10, if it doesn't work on my computer I reckon it wont be working on millions of w10 computers.
Please fix it, I cant stand all these adds everywhere. What alternatives are there to ABP ???

Are other addons installed in your IE ?
You can report your issue on the bug tracker ...but if can't be reproduced

Thanks again for trying to help. Unfortunately it still doesn't work. I un-installed ABP and then installed ABP 1.4.798.
As said this is a clean install of windows 10 and I've only installed a couple of things on here.
I've got a couple of other add-ons in the 'manage add-ons' list, and I've tried keeping ABP enabled and disabling each other add-on individually and all other add-ons altogether, restarting IE after each change. But nothing helped ABP still doesn't work. Heres my list of add-ons:

I need to build my PC from Scratch and Upgrade the PC from my Girlfriend.

My new PC is Windows 10 x64, Girlfriends PC Windows 10 x86. On both ABP is not working with Version 1.5 on the IE 11. Not Edge!
On my Business PC on Windows 8.1 the ABP works fine now.

On the Plugins it show the ABP successfuly

So I think is a Problem with Windows 10. I have installed on both the German Windows Version.

I double check every Setting. The third-party extensions is enabled.

I have installed and removed newest to the Version 1.3.763. Always the same. The Icon down on the right Side is not enabled and not visible

Have you checked "Manage add-ons"? Is it enabled there?
