Ma Banque annonce :
Microsoft a décidé qu'Edge ne supporterait pas de plug-ins. Se connecter via Edge n'est donc possible que sans câble vu que notre lecteur de carte avec câble requiert un plug-in.
So it will be the same for ABP!
Win10 and browser Edge

probably it's about activeX and other obsolete technology
Microsoft Edge is dropping ActiveX and old-school plugins

Re: Win10 and browser Edge
go to
en/edge
and provide your email address to be notified when will arrive (but first as I wrote above, microsoft has to provide the necessary support for extensions on edge)

Re: Win10 and browser Edge
It appears that extension support has been pushed back until sometime in mid-2016, and will be included in Windows 10's major "Redstone" update.
So ABP-lovers has to use another browser till that time.

Thanks, but no thanks. I am not interesting in emails but in blocking those m..... f..... who spam us with garbage advertisnings.mapx wrote:go to

ABP don't have only a problem with Edge, but with Opera too. I mean, what is point to have ABP installed if pop ups or video players advertisning normaly working with ABP installed?SimonV wrote:It appears that extension support has been pushed back until sometime in mid-2016, and will be included in Windows 10's major "Redstone" update.

You guys need to found a way how to protect ABP code, so others will not be able to go in and block ABP or force users to disable ABP if they wish to read some websites. It kind of, those dudes kick you ABP dudes out of the business. So who will win, those dudes or ABP dudes?
Re: Win10 and browser Edge
riko, try to understand what you read
1.again, for edge microsoft has to provide the extensions system
2.any adblocker (in chrome, opera, firefox etc) works using the filters. If you get popups or ads just report the pages and someone (or even you) will find new filters.
There are however some video systems which handle the video ads on the server side and no adblocker will be able to block such ads.

Re: Win10 and browser Edge
^^If you mean old Opera, development has ceased, because that browser died more than two years ago.
Anyway, ABP doesn't do anything to announce its presence, and barring bugs (which do get fixed when found), sites cannot detect it directly (even though the source code to ABP is public and not obfuscated in any way, it isn't visible to code on a Web page); instead they infer it from the facts that elements are hidden, or resources blocked, that shouldn't be, and although we try to counteract most attempts at doing that, there is no once-and-for-all solution (I think it's a consequence of the undecidability of the halting problem, the same reason there can be no perfect anti-virus scanner).

There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.

Microsoft Edge gets its first browser extensions

The company says that other extensions from the likes of Adblock Plus, Amazon, LastPass and Evernote will become available later this year.
