wetter.com ads

Post by hmpf »

Dear adblock community,

I have installed Adblock Plus but I still see ads on wetter.com, a german weather site.

Some info:
Windows Vista
Firefox 34.0.5
Adblock Plus 2.2.6 with EasyList Germany+Easy List and Fanboys's Social Blocking List

I'd be very thankful for any help or info!

Best regards,
hmpf

Did you update your filters ?
remove all the custom filters for http://www.wetter.com/

After removing the custom filters, there are no more ads. Thank you!

But i dont understand why and how this works, arent the filters for blocking these ads?

well, I didn't see all your custom filters, some of them could be exception filters (which enable whitelisting)
sometimes the webmasters seeing some element is blocked push out some different ads
