Cannot open Guardian website

For a few weeks now it is not possible to open the guardian website with adblock active. This did not used to be the case, so something must have changed.

Is it possible to fix this?

I like the guardian so I tried going adblock free for a little while, but the experience is so horrible!

I am not rooted, so use adblock via the proxy localhost setting.

I am using a note 2. Not using the adblock browser, just the adblock plus app with the proxy localhost settings.

I've tried accessing The Guardian website and apparently it works. However, I'm not sure if you meant that you could actually not access it at all or if you could access it and still see ads.
In case you can still see ads, would it be possible to send us screenshots of them? You could try this imgur.com in order to link the images.
