Adblock Plus item in Chrome Devtools menu

Recently the new item "Adblock Plus" was added in the top menu on the right next to "Console" item of Chrome Devtools menu. Is it somehow possible to remove it?

Maybe a future version will have a way to turn off the logger, because that's what the ABP submenu in DevTools is for.

But why do you want such a feature ? just curious.

There is currently no way to remove the Adblock Plus devtools panel, but sure we could add an option to remove it from the devtools.

however, if you really want to disable that new tab (without waiting for a new option):

- go into your chrome profile
- extensions folder
- go into ABP folder:
for stable ABP: cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb
for dev build: ldcecbkkoecffmfljeihcmifjjdoepkn

- rename devtools.js

Note that the next time Adblock Plus is updated, that file, and therefore the devtools panel, would be back.

sure, probably could also be emptied and set it read-only.

I added an option to disable the devtools panel. This change is now visible in the development builds.
