Looks good. Not seeing any ads and everything is functioning smoothly.
So, what is this? Is it a temporary extension that i'll eventually need to switch from? Or do I stay on this dev one?

It's the same ABP but the dev build branch. When will land the stable version you can switch again to the old one (in the extensions page).
Or, you can stay always on dev build branch (receiving the last changes).

Thank you, the dev build seems to have fixed the issue. Great news...

Looking at the commit, it seems like the issue is fixed by switching from Array.splice to Array.slice. Just curious, how did you figure out that it was Array.splice that was causing the performance issues? And do you know what might happened that could lead to newer versions of Chrome having worse Array.splice performance?
