ABP settings are not saved after closing Edge

Post by revanmj »

I'm using 14393 Insider build, installed ABP and set it up with my filters and whitelist. Unortunately, after closing Edge and launching it again, settings are back to defaults.

On my main PC settings were eventually saved after multiple tries, but on my tablet ABP is still not able to save its settings and goes back to defaults every time.

By looking at reviews in Windows Store, I'm not the only one with this problem.

it seems there are still limits in how microsoft implemented the extensions api
see for example
https://issues.adblockplus.org/ticket/4023

in your case it works on a system but not on other one, eventually add your comment with the details on that ticket above

It also doesn't save on four PCs for me. I think it might have to do with the "Subscription storage is full" bug which pops up all the time.
I like to be subscribed to all the lists so all the ads possible are blocked, but it's very annoying that I can't be with this Edge extension yet.

Did you apply all the updates ? It seems windows defender was blocking the extensions, but they updated defender after that again .. try again.
