Just installed WIN10 anniversary update and downloaded/installed ABP for edge (version 0.9.6.0).
While all works fine in normal browser mode, ABP does not seem to block ads in inPrivate mode.
I am not sure this is a bug, or whether MS simply does not (yet hopefully) enable extensions in inPrivate mode.
ABP not blocking ads in inPrivate mode
Re: ABP not blocking ads in inPrivate mode
Edge doesn't currently support extension use in InPrivate. However, this is a feature that I would love to see in Windows 10's next update. You can suggest your ideas to the Edge team through the Feedback Hub app on your computer.
Re: ABP not blocking ads in inPrivate mode
I'm thinking it's similar to Chrome's default behavior of not allowing extensions in Incognito Mode, although Chrome at least allows overriding this extension-by-extension.
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.
