ABP for edge allows Microsoft ads

Post by thescreamingyang »

I have found one situation that seems especially egregious, given that it is not small or non-intrusive. Both ABP in FF and Edge have identical settings: easylist, easy privacy, do not allow non-intrusive ads. Below are the results

Firefox

Edge

Seriously, this is OK?

There are big differences between firefox and chrome, between firefox and edge and so on.
Filters which work for firefox could not be enough for chrome. And for edge. It's dailymail case.

If you try chrome you'll get the same ads.
So, add these filters:

Code: Select all

dailymail.co.uk###content > div:nth-of-type(2) > iframe
||i.mol.im/i/furniture/*_skin_

If you disable ABP in Edge, The ads are the same as in FF. Only enabling ABP causes the big MS Splash. ( I could not add that filter in Edge)
