Undetectable ad blocking

Post by thanhmy »

More and more sites are refusing to let me see content because they detect Adblock Plus. Is there any way that this or any other ad blocker can work in stealth mode and be undetectable? How about allowing the ad to load but cover it with a blank space? Is there any other blocker that can avoid being detected?

"deliberately load and then hide" is known as view-fraud, which is why ABP doesn't do that, and also, letting certain content load provides a vector for malware transmission: forum/viewtopic.php?t=54285

There is no undetectable way to block or hide content; instead, we just have measures like particular filter-lists and UserScripts that try to work around known anti-adblock schemes.
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.
