Fimfiction : Missing like icon

Post by Nova25 »

Example link :

Code: Select all

https://www.fimfiction.net/story/393821/here-comes-the-sun
Filter subscriptions :
-Adblock Warning Removal List
-Fanboy+Easylist-Merged Ultimate List

So, for some strange and unknown reasons, ever since I updated these lists from 'December 1st' to 'December 3rd', the 'Like'(thumbs up) icon for stories... as just plainly vanished. The 'Dislike'(thumbs down) button is- very suspiciously- still there, on the other hand... Weird.

What's going on with that oddly suspicious weirdness there ?
How to solve that problem, without breaking the filters ?

Tested on Palemoon :
First one doesn't work.
Second one... I get ''hits'' on it, but the 'Like' icon is still missing.

Firefox :
Each one works, separately.

I would really like to find a solution for the Palemoon Browser though.
I know, bla-bla-bla, called 'Adblock Latitude', not same ''things'', etc... But, seriously, looking for help/information elsewhere for 'Adblock Latitude' is more like slamming our face in a wall repeatedly.

EDIT: On the Palemoon side, after looking a bit more closely at 'what' was being affected in the (example) page, through the 'Open blockable items' tab... There's that one 'filter rule' in the 'Fanboy+Easylist-Merged Ultimate List' filter :

Code: Select all

##.like_button
It appears to be the culprit. So, what would be the effect on other website, if I uncheck that one ? Just a button more in the pages ? Seems like a weird addition to put in filters, I must say.
