I removed it, but sites don't understand that

Post by LarianBretto »

Hello guys,,
This is really, REALLY frustrating. Just a few days ago, I added the adblocker extension because Chrome was lagging when I had many article tabs open; those sites are riddled with ads. Anyway, I whitelist a couple of sites, such as Youtube. I go on auto paint gauge Youtube, and every ad I encounter is unskippable. I go on other sites, and they realize I have adblock as well. So, I disable it, and after that, I remove it. Sites are still thinking I have adblock on. WHY??? I tried adding and removing it again, extensions like "hide my adblocker"... but nothing seems to be working. What do I do??

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us! We found that some browsers have tracking protection automatically enabled and sites recognize these as ad blockers. You will need to disable any tracking protection to get rid of this issue. I hope this helps!

Thanks
