Distributed voting for adblock D-Day

Post by jago25_98 »

No general forum?

There's talk at the moment of the possibility of adblocking becoming illegal if there were to be a series of events to create legal precedent.

Perhaps there's grounds for merit for a distributed filter list and aiding users in contributing to that decentralised list?

In what jurisdiction(s)?
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.

Hi Lewisje.

Sorry for the necrobump but it's just you I'm replying to so I think it's OK.

DCMA was applied to adblock list: https://www.reddit.com/r/technology/com ... dblocking/

Thus, a decentralised option is needed.
