YouTube now completely b0rken unless ABP disabled ?

Post by m0d0nne11 »

Now all we ever see is stuff like this:

. An error occurred. Please try again later. (Playback ID: e8dAMtCWbWvX2Eoo)

If ABP is disabled the YouTube vid is immediately usable. Problems first noticed around 20200324.
I'd forgotten how wonderful ABP is until it failed like this - please repair the damage YouTube has inflicted on us - aaaiiieeeee!!!! ... >-/

Hi there!

The filter list authors are working on a fix for this issue. In the meantime, we noticed that the issue doesn't persist when signed out of your youtube account. We hope to have this resolved soon.

Thanks

Honestly, this rarely, if ever, happens on chrome. I think it's an exclusive issue with firefox, many people doesn't like it but I do find my chrome being better as an explorer overall.

Glad I checked this forum. I was unable to see my notifications or post comments on Youtube using Firefox ... Disabled AdBlock for Youtube
and it now works fine ... Let us know when this is resolved so we can turn Ad Block Plus back on ... Also just started today for me, get a message
in Yahoo Email that we need to turn off our Ad Blocker ... Very annoying. So far have done Element Blocking of message, but that leaves the screen
washed out and you need to reload it (seems okay after that) ... Also did a Remove It Permanently of that ad ... Hopefully the ad block filter writers
will fix this ... I have these filters installed: Adblock Warning RemAntioval List / Easy List / AakList (Anti-Adblock-Killer)

I just get a single random ad that doesn't even play on every few videos. I just reload the page and it's gone. I do hope though that the filter authors can tackle this new aggressive Youtube strategy. I don't want to see ads on my computer.

I, infact, got ADP just to block ads because I was getting viruses and malware from them.

Youtube forces us to deal with their new and "improved" layouts and now they want us to deal with ads? Yeah no. Youtube can find another way to make money that doesn't screw with my computer.

I'm thankful for ADP and I hope they keep up the good work.
