How to whitelist body backgrounds?

Post by xxhoosierxx »

I literally have no clue on how to due this. I would just like to know how do I change the dev build from hiding body backgrounds for every site? Thanks in advance.

Adblock Plus for Chrome doesn't have a proper user interface for that yet. Could you give me a particular website? I could then create an exception rule for the background in Firefox.

The only 2 sites I visit that have body backgrounds are GameSpot.com and IGN.com.

Thanks so much.

This is the filter you need to add for gamespot:

Code: Select all

@@||i.i.com.com/cnwk.1d/Ads/$image
ign.com doesn't have any background ads from what I can tell, a particular page maybe?

Thanks! Gamespot is fine now.

IGN shows a body background and hides for me. All I do is keep refreshing ign.com and everytime there is a body background....weird that you can't see it.

There is a body background there but no reason why it would be blocked - it isn't an ad. If that's the background being hidden, you can try this filter:

Code: Select all

@@||media.ignimgs.com/media/ign/imgs/ign_gradient.jpg$image
