I have tried this:

Code: Select all

softpedia.com##tr#td#ins#ins#IFRAME[id="aswift_0_anchor"]
another version:

Code: Select all

softpedia.com##tr#IFRAME[id="aswift_0_anchor"]
I wanted to hide the whole tr not just the iframe

adblock just doesn't seem to want to work the way i think it does :(

Have you whitelisted Google ads intentionally? (All the common filter subscriptions block it, so it would be good to know what kind of filter setup you have).

No, i just checked the whitelist.

I have these filters enabled:
-EasyList av Michael, Ares2, Erunno, Khrin, MonztA
-Recommended filters for Google Chrome

Still those ads sometime appear anyway not sure why..

Do you mean this one (Fanboy's List av fanboy, Nitrox) ?
I didn't have that one enabled..

In the General tab, did you select "Disable inline text ads"?
There's a buzzin' in my brain I really can't explain; I think about it before they make me go to bed.

Me neither, EasyList should block them. It could be a Chrome issue, but I don't know enough about that.
