flash player 8 breaks adblock plus

Post by mrballistic »

the subject says it all. install flash player 8, then look at any flash content - adblock blocks all of it. the only way to see any content is to turn adblock off (or roll back to flash player 7)

Disable Obj-Tabs until it's fixed. Issue resident from Adblock core.

Still broken with the latest Flash Player 8.0 r22 that's currently up for download at macromedia.com.

Throws lots and lots of these warnings in the JavaScript console:

"Warning: reference to undefined property node.style
Source File: chrome://adblock/content/component.js
Line: 1207"

followed by

"Error: Bad NPObject as private data!
Source File: chrome://adblock/content/component.js
Line: 1207"

and

"Error: Bad NPObject as private data!
Source File: chrome://adblock/content/component.js
Line: 87" (twice)

using Firefox 1.0.7...

It's fixed in the developer builds now, but I'm still not sure what to do about the "Bad NPObject as private data! " error messages.
