I fact - why use shadows at all? I realised they don't necessarily contribute positively to a symbol's look.

Next try, with 14px, 10px and 8px sized symbols (I like the 10px sized ones):

We would use the 10px version. I think it looks good. Other opinions?

I think it looks great. I do have a (dumb?) question though. I read back but I can't find what each symbol means. X is disabled filter? but what does the others mean.

It is not the filters list but list of blockable items. The cross is something you blocked, the green circle a whitelisted item.

chewey, I added these icons for the next development build - they look quite good, and we will hopefully get more opinions this way.

Yay, the element hiding counters rock! This will be a great new version.
And I like the icons too, but I'm biased of course ;-)
