Some crazy things happening - inc popups galore

Hi community,

I'm wondering if you could help me. In the last day, AdBlock has been allowing all kinds of pop-ups to happen. I have installed a new soundcard driver direct from the Intel website. Since then, popups are going crazy in Chrome.

Also, I presume it's relevant as it started at completely the same time, but the 'Write Something...' and the 'Search' text boxes in Facebook are changing colour as though it's gliding through the palette (ie, gradual instead of instant). Ever since that started, was when the AdBlock started to allow all kind of popups to come through.

I have Avast virus software and have done a complete boot scan, yet it's still happening.

Any suggestions?

1.go into extensions page (settings, tools, extensions) ==> remove the unknown not installed by you extensions
2.scan your system using anti malware/adware software
