so any class I have on my website which has the letters 'ad' in them now no longer work because of your bullshit code!!
Why the hell would you build something with such an obvious mistake in it.
So all buttons which are used to add user or add this and add that, have classes called adduser, so that jquery can work on a click to that class.
but no your flipping plugin breaks everything
please fix this, your product should not do this , its an utter disgrace that such a bit of software has managed to become so popular with such a massive flaw in it!!!
your pissed off (obviously)

Re: adblock sucks
By default, Adblock Plus doesn't block anything. Things are only blocked once you either subscribe to a filter set, or add your own custom filters. The people who maintain the filter subscriptions are experienced, and they almost certainly didn't make such a rookie mistake.
Mind your language, and read the manual.
What if Adblock Plus blocks too much?

I don't think your approach will help solving these issues. If you (nicely) report a website that is broken by ABP, the maintainers of the filter lists are usually very helpful when it comes to fixing false positives.

Hahahah! How stupid... Call yourselves coders!! This is a joke... I just did a test and Jon is right... It blocks everything with ad in the title.... What a load of bloatware shite.
I'd suggest you get it fixed asap, or more people are gonna be pissed... You are supposed to be helping people out by blocking ads... Not blocking their website code..
So Adblock is totally hacked together then... Just looking for "ad" in any code..
Hahaha... Hilarious... Don't you test stuff??

Re: adblock sucks
Adblock Plus has two different methods of removing adverts: checking the addresses of external items and blocking those that match filters or by applying CSS to collapse unwanted elements. Lists of filters, known as subscriptions, determine which items to block and elements to collapse; Adblock Plus merely facilitates the removal of advert. The issue that you have experienced is the result of an issue with a subscription, not the add-on.Jozeph wrote:How stupid... Call yourselves coders!! This is a joke... You are, of course, welcome to suggest better methods to remove adverts - I'm sure that Wladimir is open to suggestions.

Which subscription blocks the class "adduser"? Generic element rules in the English subscriptions usually precisely identify classes and ids to collapse.Jozeph wrote:It blocks everything with ad in the title....
Yes, but not on all 200 million domains or so.Jozeph wrote:Don't you test stuff??

No, how stupid you are for not using a templating language capable of fast changes.Jozeph wrote:Hahahah! How stupid... Call yourselves coders!! This is a joke... I just did a test and Jon is right... It blocks everything with ad in the title.... What a load of bloatware shite.

There is a good reason not to name a class "ad*" just like you wouldn't name one "ILikeLookingAtGayPornAtTheOffice"
Users don't want ads. ABP is a lot more popular than your site.
