YouTube now Disabling Ad Blockers

YouTube videos are now displaying a message saying "Ad blockers are not allowed on YouTube." Even though videos will play without ads, it won't be very long before videos will not play.

It is definitely a nuisance. While I do try to whitelist sites that have sensible amounts of ads, YouTube is NOT on that list.

I don't know how often the anti-adblocker filter list is updated but could it be a setting in Firefox to do with Private Browsing that we have to change to help AdBlock work as expected? There is little up to date info on this problem I am afraid. Most suggestions are several years old.

Youtube is upping the game, shutting off access to users who have Adblock Plus. Is Adblock working to find a way around this?
