Now if only Google would fix the bug in Chrome that makes multiple entries in the “back” button history when using ABP. I doubt they ever will though, since they hate you guys. Keep up the good work.

They were discussing ways to approach this issue ( but the progress in that bug report stopped again for some reason. Most likely the people involved are occupied with something that’s considered more important.

There is no single “Google”, it’s a big company and many people are working there. Also, from what I understand, nobody enforces a single opinion on any topic there, it’s a well-run company. In the past, we’ve dealt with many Google employees (including Chrome developers) who have been very supportive and helped us with the issues we’ve been experiencing. So you aren’t giving them enough credit. Of course, I would prefer some topics to be given more priority during Chrome development, but I’m obviously not in charge of their development process.

So far the only action against Adblock Plus coming from Google was throwing all ad blockers out of the Play Store. Clearly, I don’t like the spirit of that but from what I’ve understood that step was quite controversial inside Google as well.

Hmm, I don’t see any internal updates in my SeaMonkey v2.19 web browser’s addons manager?

    Reply from Wladimir Palant:

That’s because AMO is taking its time to review the update – until then there won’t be any automatic updates.

Ah, thanks. How long does it usually take to review and show up?
